The great and the good of the packaging industry will congregate later this month at the Emballarge 2014 exhibition. The event, taking place at Paris Nord from the 17th to the 20th of November, will see exhibitors and visitors gather to view the latest products and innovations within the industry.
A Growing Event
The first Emballarge exhibition was held in 1947 and took into account the changes that had occurred in consumer behaviour after the Second World War. Since then, the event has continued to grow and develop year on year, and it is now one of the industry’s major annual events.
This year, organisers expect to welcome around 100,000 professionals from across the industry, including about 1,500 exhibiting companies and 300 speakers. This is a truly international event, with participants coming from more than 45 countries. They are predominantly based in the EMEA region, and this will be the key focus of the show.
Making the Most of Emballarge
Visitors to this year’s exhibition will be able to view many of the industry’s new innovations and consider different ways of thinking. They can get a fully rounded view of the industry and the variety of options available to them.
The Emballarge exhibition covers both plastic and wooden packaging options. Those who attend have an excellent opportunity to research the complete market and see what best meets their needs. For those who are considering the switch to plastic pallets, they can assess the benefits over wood and speak to different suppliers.
The event is an excellent opportunity to develop new contacts through the wealth of networking opportunities before, during and after the exhibition. Visitors will also be able to learn from the expertise of others, whether they require help with a packaging problem or want to use a more environmentally friendly solution.
As the packaging industry is so wide and diverse, the event has been separated into individual areas in order to make it more accessible for visitors. Each area is dedicated to a specific sector, allowing those attending to concentrate on the elements that are most important to them and to make it easier to find the right supplier.
There is so much more to Emballarge than finding the most appropriate product. There will be a number of product launches taking place across the event, showcasing new ideas and innovative approaches to packaging issues. The exhibition will also see the announcement of the Innovations Awards, which highlight the best new products from across the industry.
Throughout the four days, there will be workshops and round-table discussions taking place. This provides visitors with the perfect opportunity to hear opinions from leading figures in the industry and to work alongside colleagues.
In order to get the most from their time at the event, registered participants can view all the details of the exhibition through the website. There is information on all the individual areas and the specific exhibitors that will be present.
