Standard Delivery
Stock products are normally delivered within two to three working days after an order is placed. Deliveries are generally made between 9:00am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
Delivery times may be longer for certain parts of Scotland and other remote locations. If an additional charge or extended delivery time applies, our team will contact you after receiving your order.
Standard Delivery Charges
Standard mainland UK delivery is free on orders over £400 excluding VAT.
A £59 delivery charge applies to orders below £400 excluding VAT.
Additional charges may apply to certain parts of Scotland and other remote locations. Where an additional charge applies, we will contact you before processing the delivery.
Next Working Day Delivery
Next working day delivery is available on many stock products when an order is placed before 12 noon, subject to stock availability and the delivery location.
A £29 surcharge applies for next working day delivery.
Timed, AM, PM and Saturday deliveries may also be available for an additional charge.
Deliveries requiring a tail-lift vehicle are subject to an additional £5 charge.
Delivery Requirements
Please tell us about any delivery restrictions when placing your order. This includes:
- Restricted or narrow access
- Vehicle size restrictions
- Specific delivery times
- Unloading or forklift requirements
- A requirement for tail-lift delivery
- Any other conditions that could affect delivery
Additional costs resulting from a failed delivery may be charged to the customer. This includes situations where nobody is available to accept the delivery or where the delivery address has unsuitable or restricted access that was not disclosed when ordering.
Products requiring special colours, printing, branding or other customisation may have a longer lead time. This will normally be confirmed by your sales representative and shown on your quotation.
Smaller orders may be delivered on a slave pallet to protect the products during transportation. Unless otherwise agreed, the slave pallet becomes the customer’s responsibility after delivery.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel or amend an order, please contact us as soon as possible.
Orders can normally only be cancelled or amended before they have been processed or dispatched. Once an order has been dispatched, we may be unable to cancel it and additional transport costs may apply.
Customised, branded or specially manufactured products cannot normally be cancelled once production has started.
Different cancellation rights may apply to consumers purchasing online. Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.
Returns and Refunds
Eligible stock products may be returned within four weeks of delivery, provided they have not been used and are returned in the condition in which they were supplied.
Please contact us before returning any products so we can confirm whether they are eligible and provide return instructions.
Unless the products are faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, the customer is responsible for the original delivery charge and the cost of returning them.
Customised, branded and specially manufactured products cannot normally be returned unless they are faulty or do not match the agreed specification.
Nothing in this policy affects a consumer’s statutory rights.
Damaged Goods and Delivery Shortfalls
Please inspect your order when it arrives. Any visible damage or shortages should be recorded on the delivery paperwork before the delivery is signed for wherever possible.
Report damaged goods, shortages or incorrectly supplied products to Plastic Pallets UK as soon as possible and preferably within seven days of delivery.
Please provide your order number, details of the issue and photographs of the products, packaging and delivery paperwork. This will help us investigate and resolve the matter promptly.
Reporting an issue outside seven days does not affect any statutory rights that may apply.
