We’ve Renewed Our ISO Certification

At Plastic Pallets UK, we’re proud to announce an update to our ISO certifications! In August, we renewed and received our new ISO certifications for ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. As our business grows, we’re always looking to increase our high quality standards to ensure you get the best pallets for your needs.
What Is An ISO Certification?
Great, we’ve renewed our ISO certifications! But what does that mean? In a nutshell, the ISO is the International Organisation for Standardisation, which has been in operation for over 75 years! Over 25 countries banded together back in 1947 to produce the future of standardisation across the globe.
Obviously, with so many countries working together using different languages, ISO can mean different things depending on where you go! That’s why the acronym ISO was chosen, as it derives from a Greek term meaning “equal”. As the ISO certifications ensure quality and standardisation for all, a better term couldn’t have been chosen!
They are a non-governmental organisation and cover a broad range of fields and industries, including technical and non-technical fields, including plastic and wooden pallets! We’re proud to continue working towards the standards set across the world, ensuring that our plastic pallets and accessories are usable in and out of the UK.
ISO 9001
The ISO 9001 certification is a Quality Management System certificate. Essentially, this certificate ensures that Plastic Pallets UK meet all the standardised requirements for our customers, objectives, and products. Our renewed ISO 9001 accreditation means that you can trust us to provide you with consistent service and quality.
We’ve had both of these accreditations before, but having them renewed for the foreseeable future displays our dedication to maintaining our standards as we have grown as a business. The certificates remain active until August 2026, when we will apply again to renew them!
At Plastic Pallets UK, we sell a lot more than just your usual pallets. We can also provide you with durable fishing boxes, pallet wraps to keep your goods safe and secure, and a whole collection of containers in many shapes and sizes to suit almost any need.
ISO 14001
The ISO 14001 certification has also been renewed. This certification relates to the Environmental Management System and ensures that we adhere to ecological standards. At Plastic Pallets UK, we’ve always been committed to protecting the environment around us, and we’re proud to continue having this certification for the next three years.
We’ve already worked hard to reduce the amount of plastic pallet waste throughout the country and throughout our manufacturing process. Did you know that almost all of the plastic pallets we create are made using recycled plastic? The only times we use new plastic is for specific colour or hygiene requirements. Additionally, if you have any plastic pallets lying around that you no longer use, we’re pleased to offer our collection and recycling services! Your plastic pallets don’t need to go to waste; just fill out our collection form, and we’ll put it through our excellent refurbishment process.
As a licensed waste collector, we have a mission to reduce the 12 million tonnes of plastic waste entering our oceans each year. All our plastic products are 100% recyclable, and we’ve got a systemic process in place to melt down, reshape, and resell any and all old plastic pallets that come our way.

Many of the plastic pallets we collect are already in great condition, and with a bit of love, we’re able to resell them as used plastic pallets.
